Residential toilet rebate

If you do not know who your water provider is you can use the water provider lookup tool at regionalh2o.org/drinking-water-advisory-tool.

Finding the age of your toilet(s): There's usually a date stamped in the tank of the toilet. You can find it either on the inside of the tank near the top and above the water line, or on the underside of the tank’s lid. This is the date the toilet was made.

Where did you recycle your old toilet?

To get a rebate, you must include both a copy of your purchase receipt for your new WaterSense labeled toilet(s) as well as proof of recycling for the older toilet(s). Applications with missing receipts will be delayed. 

 

How to use the receipt upload tool below:

  1. Click the 'Click Here to Upload' link.

  2. Drag and drop or copy and paste your receipt files into the 'Select Files to Upload' box. You can also click within the box to open the file selector.

  3.  Once all of your files are shown in the upload tool, click the blue 'Upload' button in the lower right corner and wait for them to complete uploading.

  4. You should be all set!

The receipt upload feature may not work well for some assistive technologies.

  • We, the Portland Water Bureau, may deny any application that does not meet all of the toilet rebate program eligibility requirements.
  • We reserve the right to alter or cease this program at any time.
  • We are not responsible for the quality of the toilet purchased and we do not warranty any toilet, or any fixture comprising a component in any toilet, or the installation of any toilet.
  • We do not guarantee lower water bills as a result of participating in the toilet rebate program.
  • We are not responsible for any damage that may occur to the applicant’s property as a result of removing the old toilet or installing the new toilet under this program.
  • The undersigned agrees to hold harmless the City of Portland and the Portland Water Bureau from and against all loss, damage, expense, and liability resulting from or otherwise relating to the purchase, installation, use or removal of a toilet.
