Irrigation rebate application

Rebates are available for WaterSense-labeled irrigation controllers and multistream rotator sprinkler nozzles. Applications must be received within one year of hardware purchase date. Anyone with an active Portland Water Bureau sewer/stormwater/water account can apply for rebates. 

Applying for the rebate is easy, but you'll need a few things before you start:

  • Your receipt from the purchase of the eligible irrigation equipment. Must show cost and model information.
  • Your Portland Water Bureau sewer/stormwater/water account number.
  • The date of your most recent backflow testing. Annual backflow testing must be up to date. 
  • Fifteen minutes to complete the form.

Rebate agreement and release of liability

  • We, the Portland Water Bureau, may deny any application that does not meet all the irrigation rebate program eligibility requirements.
  • We reserve the right to alter or cease this program at any time.
  • We are not responsible for the quality of hardware purchased and we do not warranty any irrigation hardware or installation of irrigation systems.
  • We do not guarantee lower water bills as a result of participating in the irrigation rebate program.
  • We are not responsible for any damage that may occur to your property as a result of installing the new irrigation hardware under this program.
  • The undersigned agrees to hold harmless the City of Portland and the Portland Water Bureau from and against all loss, damage, expense, and liability resulting from or otherwise relating to the purchase, installation, use or removal of irrigation nozzles and/or irrigation controllers.
