Portland Toilet Rebate Application

Replacing an older toilet is a great way to save water and money! That's why the Portland Water Bureau offers toilet rebates to any eligible customer. Applying for a toilet rebate is easy but you'll need a few things before you start:

  • Your receipt from the purchase of your new WaterSense-labeled toilet
  • Your receipt from recycling your old toilet at an approved recycling center
  • Your City of Portland sewer, stormwater, water account number
  • Ten minutes to complete the form 
  • Application must be received within one year of purchase.

Is the Portland Water Bureau your water provider?

Many utilities offer rebates. Check with your water provider. To find out who your water provider is, use the 'Who is my water provider?' lookup tool on the Regional Water Provider Consortium's website.

Did you buy a WaterSense-labeled toilet?

Not sure? Check to see if the toilet you bought is WaterSense-labeled. 

Only WaterSense toilets and urinals are eligible for a rebate.  Please contact us if you have questions: 503-823-4527.

Do you have a copy of your receipt or plumber invoice for the purchase of your NEW toilet?

Proof of purchase is required to process your rebate. Give us a call if you have questions: 503-823-4527.

Was your OLD toilet recycled?

To get the rebate, we require you to recycle your older toilet at either Environmentally Conscious Recycling or S&H Landscape Recycling. Give us a call if you have questions: 503-823-4527.
